The Asana toolkit lets LLMs interact with Asana through Arcade, enabling task management, project navigation, and workspace administration via natural language.
Capabilities
- Task lifecycle — create, retrieve, update, complete, and search tasks; fetch subtasks; attach files (text, binary, or remote URL) to tasks
- Project & workspace navigation — list and retrieve projects, workspaces, and teams by ID or membership
- People & tags — list and look up users and tags within a workspace; create new tags
- File attachments — attach content to tasks via raw text string, base64-encoded binary, or external URL (exactly one source per call)
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 with Asana as the identity provider. Arcade handles the OAuth flow automatically. See the Asana auth provider docs for setup details.
